Research & Development
As one of wholly-owned group companies of Nitto Denko, Nitto Medical plays the role of communication hub, ensuring customers’ needs and Nittos’ advanced technologies to be fully incorporated to the quality and safety of our products. Notably, our Tohoku Plant (Osaki city, Miyagi) is engaged in product development with the advanced technologies generated at Medical Related Products Division’s Product Development Center (Ibaraki City, Osaka).
Wide ranged studies such as general toxicity and mutagenicity are conducted at our Safety Testing Center (part of the R&D center) by highly skilled and experienced members.
Production System
Our manufacturing site Tohoku Plant is certified ISO9001 for QM System Certification and ISO14001 for EMS by a certification body. The Plant, which specializes in manufacturing pharmaceutical and medical supplies, is also in compliant with the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare’s Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP).
